The Accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching typically takes about nine months to complete.
The course itself is a six month programme and, in principle, you could complete the course and qualify in that timeframe.
The variable element, however, is the time it takes participants to complete and log 40 sessions of coaching. This is very much down to each individual.
Typically, you will start to coach after the first training session by working with fellow participants on the course. You may also have practice clients lined up to work with.
Assuming you were to complete 2 hours of coaching per week, it would take just 20 weeks, or around 5 months, to accumulate 40 hours of coaching and this would allow you qualify shortly after your 6th module. Of course, it is possible to coach many more than 2 hours per week should you wish.
Finally, there is a 12 month deadline to qualify on the course. Not only does this help participants stay focused on completing the course but it ensures that the skills and learning remain fresh. This deadline may be extended to account for extenuating circumstances but this is on a case-by-case basis.
