Overview of our Coaching Supervision Course

If you’re a highly-experienced coach, then a coaching supervision course might be the perfect next step for your coaching career.

Designed for highly-experienced coaches across the world, this programme takes place in partnership with our sister school, the International Centre for Coaching Supervision. 

Our coaching supervision course is delivered through 20 half-day sessions of live training spread over nine months.

Alongside this you’ll participate in reflective practice groups, receive private supervision skills-mentoring and join a community of supervisors from around the globe.

The Diploma in Coaching Supervision course is accredited by the world’s leading coaching bodies, the International Coach Federation, the European Mentoring & Coaching Council, and the Association for Coaching.

Course Elements

4 Modules, 20 Sessions of Live Training

We are delighted to partner with the International Centre for Coaching Supervision to provide this cutting edge coaching supervision course.

At the core of the course are four modules featuring a total of 20 half-day live, virtual training sessions.

Each session takes place online in a group of around 12 participants and lasts 3.5 hours.. 

The sessions are highly-experiential and interactive and cover theory, practice, discussion, observed coaching and group mentoring.

Led by the ICCS/Animas supervision training faculty, you will go on a developmental journey with your cohort and trainer together ensuring you get what you need and that we can help identify your strengths and address areas of development.

Introduction to Theory and Principles Video Series

As part of your online learning, you will have access to a 16-part video course that covers the history, theory and principles of coaching supervision allowing the live training to focus on practical skills.

5 Sessions of Reflective Practice Group Work

A critical part of the course is the Reflective Practice Group session which create smaller groups within the main cohort and provide a space for supervision-of-supervision and for exploring the learning and questions emerging from the course.

Each group is led by an experienced group supervisor and the fixed membership provides a psychologically rich and safe space for exploration.

Private Supervision Mentoring

To provide constructive feedback on strengths and areas for development within your supervision, you will undertake two private mentoring sessions with a supervisor.

The sessions enable you to work through a recorded sessions of your supervision, listening and reflecting together over 90 minutes.

These sessions can be rocket-fuel for helping you attain new levels of competence.

Optional Monthly Masterclasses

Participants on the course gain lifetime access to a range of masterclasses often delivered by Animas and ICCS founder, Nick Bolton.  

These provide an excellent opportunity to meet with fellow coaching supervisors whilst taking a deeper dive into topics within coaching supervision.

Assessment & Certification

The course is fully accredited by the EMCC the Association for Coaching and the ICF, the three leading professional coaching associations. 

This means ensures you gain worldwide recognition for your coaching supervision training and accreditation.

The course accreditations are:

EMCC -Global Supervision Quality Award (ESQA)

Association for Coaching – Accredited Diploma in Coaching Supervision Training

ICF – maximum allowable CCE all of which are core competency (the ICF award a maximum of 40 hours CCE for any one course regardless of hours but this is sufficient for any renewal)

Course Fee & Payment Plans

The course fee is £4,495 including VAT (or equivalent in $ or €)

This includes all training, mentoring, supervision and practice groups, assessment and certification as well as the additional support such as Coaches Uncaged.

Payment can be made in full or in 6 equal interest-free instalments. A place on the course is secured with a deposit of £995 (or $/€)
