An Animas Lecture with Sasha van Deurzen-Smith…
Join Sasha as she explores the way in which existential practice can not only help to illuminate our values, but identify the often concealed impact that they have on our choices.
An existential coach and academic registrar at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, Sasha will consider how to work with a client’s personal narrative, and how working existentially with imagery can help to uncover tacit knowledge, in turn aiding clients to move forward with renewed energy and vigour.
Sasha is the course leader of the school’s MA in Existential Coaching, and deputy course leader for the MA in Existential and Humanistic Pastoral Care and MSc in Autism and Related Neurodevelopmental Conditions.
She has an MA in Existential Coaching and specialises in working through creative dilemmas, issues around self-esteem, and has experience working with adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
