Coaching Modern Leaders in Unprecedented Times
We live in unprecedented times which are re-shaping the landscape of leadership.
Leaders are asked to deliver to a high bar of performance while steering their teams through uncertainty and turbulence where the volume and complexity of the work keep increasing at exponential rates.
It can be an overwhelming picture where leadership formulas from the past are quickly becoming out of date. As coaches who partner with leaders, we have an exciting and important role to play. But our responsibility is not only towards the leader themselves but also to the organisation and the systems they are part of.
So how do we prepare ourselves for this challenge? What, if anything, needs to get upgraded in our approach to be the right partner for leaders of today and tomorrow?
Come to this lecture for a thought-provoking discussion and reflection on:
- What makes a great leadership coach?
- The difference between leadership coaching and coaching a person who happens to be leader.
- The authority that leadership coaches need to bring to the table.
- Your unique paradigm of leadership and how it shows up in your work.
- How can transformative coaches thrive in this work, including in organisations that focus on performance?
