Robert’s Role at Animas:
Robert is Head of Training at Animas but he is also so much more. He’s a thought leader around narrative practice and the exploration of the stories we tell ourselves. He is an expert trainer, group facilitator and supervisor and he is a centre for compassionate development within the Animas team

Robert Stephenson is a trained Performance and Person Centred Coach, who explores how NLP, Hypnotherapy and Creative Thinking can enhance the coaching environment, creating awareness and change, to enable you to overcome your fears, achieve your outcomes and reach your true potential.
Robert also trained as an actor at Rose Bruford Drama School in the late 80’s and then became a founder member of Unclassified Arts Ltd, an arts production company who for over a decade have been involved in physical theatre arts training in a variety of fields including social inclusion projects. He also creates Special Educational Needs drama workshops for Mousetrap Theatre Projects, as well as working with Stormont House developing creativity within the curriculum. For the Princes’ Trust he has delivered residential, team building and group facilitation events, and he designs and delivers bespoke training programs to educational institutions from Pre School to Adult Education.
Robert is an ICF, AC and ILM approved Coach and iTOL Trainer, specialising in Transformational Life Coaching, Youth Empowerment, Motivation and Life Balance. He works with Catalyst Business Dynamics and with Wac Arts Training (formally Interchange Training), as an Associate Trainer. He also works as a freelancer for A New Direction, holding the positions of Creative Agent, Drama Practitioner and Creative Projects Developer. As a tutor for Wac Arts, where he teaches story telling and improvisation, also as a Theatre and Education, & Physical Theatre tutor for Essex University and Education in the Arts lecturer for Anglia Ruskin University.
Robert also works as an NLP facilitator for Wilson Sheriff and is one of the lead trainers of the ‘Diploma in Transformational Coaching Programme’ at The Animas Centre for Coaching.
