Justin joined the organisation as Social Impact Assistant six months ago. Since then, he has supported Emma in developing strategies and content for the department’s in-house impact initiatives and has been instrumental in managing relationships with the Animas community and key stakeholders to achieve the social impact department’s goals and vision.
Reflecting on his recent promotion, Justin said that making a positive change through the work he does is what gets him up in the morning:
Justin is looking forward to working on the upcoming projects and shared:
Alongside Justin’s promotion, the department also welcomed a new team member, Aaron Manaloto, to fill the Social Impact Assistant position.
Prior to joining the Social Impact team, Aaron was a member of the Animas sales team, where he handled sales enquiries for the Diploma in Transformational Coaching and was in charge of administrative duties for the Introduction to Transformational Coaching and Training Test Drive sales events.
When asked why he joined the social impact team, Aaron responded:
Emma stated that she is looking forward to seeing both of her team members evolve and will be encouraging them to work within their zone of genius.
This year, Animas has been actively empowering the coaching community to generate positive change through its social impact programmes with the desire to widen accessibility to coaching.
Creating Space, the department’s first initiative of 2021, aimed at improving the wellbeing of UK teachers, has already finished its first round of volunteer coaches and is close to wrapping up its second. The community’s response has been overwhelmingly positive, and it has already piqued the curiosity of some prominent players in the education industry.
Two other strategic initiatives, the Impact Incubator and a youth-focused micro-programme, are slated to start later this year.
