Joan is the heart of the delegate experience at Animas, ensuring every attendee and speaker feels supported, informed, and engaged from registration to post-event. As the key point of contact for our virtual events, she seamlessly manages communications, logistics, and systems to create a smooth and enriching journey for all participants.

With a keen eye for detail and a warm, approachable style, Joan ensures that every event—whether a summit, workshop, or roundtable—is not just well-organised but also fosters meaningful connections and learning. She thrives on making the complex feel effortless, handling registrations, troubleshooting issues, and gathering insights to continuously enhance the experience.

Passionate about building community, Joan brings people together, encourages participation, and ensures that speakers and delegates alike feel valued. Through her thoughtful and professional approach, she embodies the Animas values of care, clarity, and excellence, making every interaction a positive one.

Having joined our team in 2017, Joan has played an integral role in Animas’s evolution, transitioning from the role of Customer Happiness Creator to her current position as Events and Community Manager.

Outside of work, Joan enjoys immersing herself in literature, exploring new languages, nurturing her spirituality, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. She harbours a deep desire to travel the globe and dreams of witnessing the captivating Aurora Borealis firsthand.
