We’re a passionate team of coaches and trainers, supported by an international operations and support team. We’re a pretty international bunch with English, Irish, French, Polish, Pakistani, Kenyan and Filipino all thrown into the mix!
We care deeply about coaching and making an impact in the world through creating exceptional coaches and we hope we’ll get to meet you if that inspires you to train with us too.
Director of Training & Coaching
Rob both manages and supports our training teams across the globe ensuring quality training that serves the needs of our coaches-in-training. He enjoys the opportunity to step back into the training space on occasions and enjoys supporting trainers directly in the classroom. Rob also hosts the regular Animas interviews for our Animas Podcasts. With a background in performance, he brings both creativity and passion to his role.
Marcus is one of our trainers on the DTC. An experienced coach, supervisor and facilitator, Marcus loves working with groups of new coaches and creating a space that empowers each person to grow towards the coach they would like to become. As a coach, Marcus draws upon person centred practices, focussing to develop a quality of closeness and rapport with his clients. When not working, Marcus is very much a family man and lurcher fan!
Emily is a highly experienced trainer on the DTC having originally created and trained the Animas Certificate in Mindfulness for Coaching. She brings a warmth, humour and creativity to her work as a trainer. She is an experienced coach, facilitator and supervisor and runs her own business bringing coaching into schools 1-2-1 and in group work and also works with private clients as a coach, meditation teacher and supervisor of coaches. She also loves cooking and walking her spaniel!
You’ll meet Bronwyn in the training room, sharing her passion for personal growth and powerful, creative approaches to coaching. Within Animas she leads coaches through face-to-face group elements of the flagship diploma course and offers further support through group supervision. Elsewhere she runs her own coaching and supervision practice and has outdoor adventures with her husband, campervan and scruffy lurcher.
Matteo’s deepest drives are curiosity and growth. As one of the lead trainers on the DTC he brings a great amount of energy, depth, and excitement. His creative style was shaped by an eclectic international life and past careers in both Physics and Education. He also works as a leadership trainer in the corporate sector and his nicheless private coaching practice has helped a range of clients - Entrepreneurs, Executives, Schools, Charities…Humans!
Nishe Patel is an Integrative Coach and Therapist who works with her clients to embrace their inner critic. She believes that by listening and engaging with our inner speech, we are able to develop a better understanding of ourselves and become more authentic in our interactions. She is a person-centred practitioner, appreciating that each client is unique and tailoring treatments specifically to them. Finally, Nishe feels that although personal development will consistently push our boundaries, it can be a fun and enjoyable experience, and therefore she encourages her clients to be creative in their work together.
Coach Trainer - Edinburgh
Emma has worked in wellbeing and development for over twenty years, facilitating change in people and communities and enabling others to live to their true potential. Alongside her training role in Edinburgh and Dublin she is founder of Forth Coaching and works with people who want to create change for themselves or others and want to enhance the world somehow. When not working she can be found either near or in the sea.
Coach Trainer - Edinburgh
Nick has an inbuilt passion for journeys of discovery, whether literally rafting across the Pacific as an award-winning travel writer or getting curious with Animas students about what takes great coaching deeper. A trainer on our live modules in Scotland, he leans towards the person-centred, existential realms of coaching, often attracting private clients undergoing midlife transition. A devoted dad, he lives by the sea and loves meandering in his kayak.
Coach Trainer - Berlin
Liz trained and qualified with Animas in 2013 and since then, has grown a thriving, full-time coaching practice from her home in Germany. Her writing has been featured in Psychologies Magazine, The Independent, Tiny Buddha and Thought Catalog, she also regularly contributes opinion pieces for large publications and podcasts. As a coach and trainer, Liz’s warm, encouraging and down-to-earth personality helps put people at ease, yet she’s also known for her challenging, thought-provoking questions, to help people see “outside of the box” and shift their perspectives in a way they never imagined.
Michele is a coach mentor and supports our students through their client work and learning journey towards becoming a coach. In her own practice, she specialises in wellbeing coaching, combining mindfulness and coaching to help individuals deal with stress, overwhelm and health issues. Michele lives in Brighton with her husband, loving the relaxed pace of life after escaping London!
Ken graduated with Animas in 2014 and with his 25-year professional background in corporate communications and events, now enjoys combining public relations consultancy with his own executive coaching practice. Outside of his practice and his Animas mentoring, Ken volunteers as a Samaritan and enjoy walking his dog Bailey
As well as her individual life coaching clients, Ruth works with teams to help them get along with each other better and be happier at work. Along with her mentoring and coaching, Ruth's background is in person-centred health and social care, and she has recently joined forces with a physiotherapist opening a new wellness centre in Hertfordshire.
Natasha is a trainer on the Kickstart your Coaching Practice workshop. Having trained in 2012 she loves to support newly qualified coaches in their journey to starting their own practice. In her own successful business she works with people who have a deeper sense that there is more to life that what they are experiencing and takes them on a deeper journey to rediscover themselves and their life purpose.
Maria is a coach mentor and supports our students through their client work and learning journey towards becoming a coach. In her own practice, she specializes in art therapy coaching. Coming from a creative background, she combines creativity, spirituality and art therapy tools with coaching to help individuals who want to form a better relationship with themselves to gain confidence and self awareness, and realize their inner creative power facilitating a self determined entrepreneurial life. Maria recently moved from London to Hamburg in Germany with her partner and three dogs, enjoying the freedom to carry her work wherever she goes.
Lilian spent almost a decade in the education and training field, teaching both primary and secondary school students in a teaching career that took her from Dublin to Abu Dhabi to London. Lilian made her transition from teaching when she trained and qualified with Animas. Since qualifying as a coach Lilian has worked with people across different sectors and helps to promote well-being, in organisations, schools and prisons. Born in Dublin, Lilian loves to travel and enjoys reading and listening to music in her free time.
Founder & CEO
Nick is the founder and CEO of Animas. He sees his role as being like an artist on a never ending quest to create a masterpiece of his school. Although no longer training within Animas, Nick’s transformational philosophy and principles permeate the Animas approach, acting as the guiding vision for how Animas develops.
As Sales Director, Karen heads up everything we do to attract, nurture and enrol new students into Animas and enable them to begin their journey to become coaches. As a coach for many years herself, she understands the hopes and concerns of our customers and cares passionately about having our students make the right choice for themselves. Outside of Animas, Karen is an avid foodie and traveller!
Head of Special Projects
Laure is our Head of Special Projects, managing a diverse portfolio of work within Animas from international growth to partnerships with coaching bodies and from managing social impact projects to developing educational structures within Animas. She is a vastly experienced coach, mentor and supervisor with a love for French Bulldogs!
Head of Operations & Customer Service
Ewelina manages our customer service, training administration and finance team ensuring that all the systems in the company are in place and work smoothly and that we provide a beautiful experience to our students. She lives in Poland and outside of work she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Head of Content & Brand
Jay works closely with his creative team as well as the Animas community, industry thought-leaders and coaching authors to bring valuable resources, knowledge and insights to all on the coaching journey. Jay is passionate about producing content that is easily accessible and highly engaging such as, the Animas podcast, lectures, interviews and written articles.
Emma is a Course Consultant facilitating people to explore whether becoming a coach is the right journey for them and whether Animas is the right place to take that journey. A coach herself and facilitator of workshops for her own coaching practice, Emma loves the work of bringing people in to the coaching world.
Osman is one of our course consultants and supports people to decide if Animas is the right place to train as a coach. Relaxed and effortless laid-back, Osman is married with a son and also runs his own part-time coaching practice working with clients struggling with work-related stress and overwhelm.
Zoe manages all of our extra curricular Events from Lectures to the Accredited courses. She enjoys engaging with thought leaders in the field and works with them to put together insightful Events. She also manages Animas Connect, to ensure it is kept as a lively and useful platform. In her spare time, Zoe runs group coaching workshops and has cuddles with her dog.
Customer Happiness Creator
Joan is our Customer Happiness Creator and part of our Philippines team. Joan ensures the best possible experience for our customers and gets to know our students individually as she deal with queries and requests. Joan loves learning new things, and in her free time you will find her either reading a book or watching a documentary.
Cecille is a Training Administrator working responsible for the enrolment process, module transfers, checking the assessment materials submitted for qualification and answering queries related to training. Working from the Philippines, she makes sure that every task is just right but is also completed in a timely manner.
Writer and Reporter
Sam is our Writer, Reporter and Social Media Voice. With a flair for writing and a penchant for story-telling, he works with peers, thought-leaders and the Animas community, to produce a consistent stream of engaging, written content; from researched white papers to student-driven articles, and blog posts to Animas book projects.
Videographer & Editor
Harry is our produces audio and visual content that captures the journey of the Animas coaches, industry thought-leaders and authors, as well as filming our lectures and events. With a keen eye for film-making and a passion for creative media, Harry aims to produce vibrant content for Animas’ ever-growing community.
Ronna is our finance assistant and your first port of call for most things invoice and payment related. A qualified bookkeeper, Ronna is part of our team based in the Philippines and works as part of Ewelina's team to provide the very best service.
