We’re a passionate team of coaches and trainers, supported by an international operations and support team. We’re a pretty international bunch with English, Irish, French, Polish, Pakistani, Kenyan and Filipino all thrown into the mix!
We care deeply about coaching and making an impact in the world through creating exceptional coaches and we hope we’ll get to meet you if that inspires you to train with us too.
Director of Training & Coaching
As our Director of Training and Coaching, Robert manages and supports our training and mentoring teams across the globe ensuring quality training that serves the needs of our coaches-in-training. With a background that has roots in performance and theatre, Robert's journey to life coaching, and training, has taken him along a path of varied experience and learning.
Another core member of the Animas training faculty, Marcus is an ICF accredited coach, and delivers a range of our training modules on the Diploma. He has further ICF accredited certificates with Animas in both Group and Existential coaching, and is also a coaching Supervisor, helping other coaches to reflect on their own practices in order to move their coaching forward.
One of the original Animas training team, Emily is a highly experienced trainer and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the ICF. She qualified with Animas in 2012 and during her Animas journey since, Emily has set up an accredited Certificate in Mindfulness Coaching, which she continues to deliver twice a year, as well as becoming a qualified Coaching Supervisor to help fellow coaches to self-reflect on their own coaching practice.
Bronwyn is another of our fantastic coach trainers. She trains the Cognition, Transaction, Presence and Paradigms modules on the Diploma, and offers further support through Group Supervision. Sharing her passion for personal growth and powerful, creative approaches to coaching, she has a unique way of captivating and engaging a room, whether a talk delivered to a hundred people, leading a training space of twenty coaches-in-training, or chatting with Rob about coaching for the Animas Podcast.
As an ICF accredited coach Matteo has a wealth of coaching experience, and his background in teaching further adds to his ability to facilitate learning in the training space.
With a Masters in Physics (Bath University), a further degree in education (King's College), and a coaching diploma with Animas, Matteo is now a full time Executive Coach, Communication Trainer with Aspire Leadership, and one of our Life Coach Trainers on the Diploma in Transformational Coaching.
As well as the Animas Diploma, London Module Trainer Nishe Patel has also completed courses in NLP, Hypnotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Matrix Reimprinting. A relevant variety of techniques which benefit Nishe as both a Coach and Trainer, and in turn those coaches-in-training that spend time learning with her.
Coach Trainer - Edinburgh
Emma is one half of our brilliant Edinburgh training team. Prior to her coaching and coach training career, Emma worked in Health and social development for twenty years. Work which has included coordinating social marketing/behaviour change projects, guest lecturing on behaviour change and health development at universities and public speaking.

Nick has always loved journeys, both inner and outer, whether navigating across the Pacific as a travel-writer, charting his own inward course of personal development, or getting curious with Animas students about what takes great coaching deeper as our coach trainer in Edinburgh. In all of these areas, the quality of the questions seems to be crucial to the journey of understanding.
Natasha is a trainer on the Kickstart your Coaching Practice workshop, our one day intensive programme offered as part of the Diploma enrolment, designed to provide insight and answers around some of the questions related to the early steps of getting a coaching practice off the ground.
Michele is an experienced ICF accredited coach and is part of our Animas coach mentor team. She actually had her first taste of coach training using the GROW model in 1998, during a stint of more than twenty years working in the public sector. This work spanned the civil service, various management tiers as well as managing and recruiting in the care sector.
Ken is an ICF credentialed coach and makes up an important part of our Coach Mentoring Team. Graduating with Animas in 2014, and with his 25-year professional background in corporate communications and events, Ken now enjoys combining public relations consultancy with his own executive coaching practice.
Ruth is one of the members of our brilliant Coach Mentoring Team, and is an ICF credentialed Transformational Life Coach. Since qualifying with Animas in 2015, Ruth has completing an accredited certificate in group coaching, as well as completing the ICF's credentialing process earlier this year.
Maria is our Berlin-based Coach Mentor, supporting our students through their client work and learning journey towards becoming a coach. Before gaining her Accredited Diploma in Transformational Coaching with Animas, Maria had a very creative background, working in the fashion industry on her own fashion labels. Whilst in this sector Maria started to notice that she had a real desire to work with people, and in particular working with them in a way that could bring about real positive change.
Lilian is one of the newest additions to our mentoring team at Animas. An ICF accredited coach, Lilian comes to coaching from a teaching background. She spent almost a decade in the education and the training field, teaching both primary and secondary school students in a teaching career that took her from Dublin to Abu Dhabi to London.
Founder & CEO
Nick is the founder and CEO of Animas. An existentially-oriented coach and supervisor, Nick has created Animas to embody the qualities of unknowing with an emergent approach to coaching that informs the coach training at every level.
Director of Operations
Laure is our Director of Operations, ensuring the smooth running of all our operations, managing accreditation with professional bodies and managing a diverse portfolio of work that includes international growth to partnerships with coaching bodies and managing social impact projects. Laure is also a vastly experienced coach, mentor and supervisor with a love for French Bulldogs!
Director of Marketing
With a background in life coaching and economics, Osman perfectly fitted the profile to be our director of marketing. With a genuine love of coaching but an equal love of how to get our message in to the world, Osman is both numbers and heart, promotion and coaching theory! Relaxed and laid-back, Osman is married with a son and runs his own part-time coaching practice.
As Enrolments Director, Karen heads up everything we do to attract and enrol new students into Animas and enable them to begin their journey to become coaches. As a coach for many years herself, she understands the hopes and concerns of our customers and cares passionately about having our students make the right choice for themselves. Outside of Animas, Karen is an avid foodie and traveller!
Head of Content & Brand
Jay works closely with his creative team as well as the Animas community, industry thought-leaders and coaching authors to bring valuable resources, knowledge and insights to all on the coaching journey. Jay is passionate about producing content that is easily accessible and highly engaging such as, the Animas podcast, lectures, interviews and written articles.
Emma is a Course Consultant facilitating people to explore whether becoming a coach is the right journey for them and whether Animas is the right place to take that journey. A coach herself and facilitator of workshops for her own coaching practice, Emma loves the work of bringing people in to the coaching world.
Zoe manages all of our extra curricular Events from Lectures to the Accredited courses. She enjoys engaging with thought leaders in the field and works with them to put together insightful Events. She also manages Animas Connect, to ensure it is kept as a lively and useful platform. In her spare time, Zoe runs group coaching workshops and has cuddles with her dog.
Customer Happiness Creator
Joan is our Customer Happiness Creator and part of our Philippines team. Joan ensures the best possible experience for our customers and gets to know our students individually as she deal with queries and requests. Joan loves learning new things, and in her free time you will find her either reading a book or watching a documentary.
Cecille is a Training Administrator working responsible for the enrolment process, module transfers, checking the assessment materials submitted for qualification and answering queries related to training. Working from the Philippines, she makes sure that every task is just right but is also completed in a timely manner.
Writer and Reporter
Sam is our Writer, Reporter and Social Media Voice. With a flair for writing and a penchant for story-telling, he works with peers, thought-leaders and the Animas community, to produce a consistent stream of engaging, written content; from researched white papers to student-driven articles, and blog posts to Animas book projects.
Videographer & Editor
Harry produces all of the audio and visual content that captures the journey of the Animas coaches, industry thought-leaders and authors, as well as filming our lectures and events. With a keen eye for film-making and a passion for creative media, Harry aims to produce vibrant content for Animas’ ever-growing community.
Ronna is our finance assistant and your first port of call for most things invoice and payment related. A qualified bookkeeper, Ronna is part of our team based in the Philippines and works as part of Ewelina's team to provide the very best service.
